Mission 1: Complete. G.U.G had the opportunity to serve those in less fortunate circumstances on Thanksgiving day. We fed over 200+ people a complete Thanksgiving dinner. We began at Hope shelter in Pontiac then made our way to the city of Detroit searching for people in need of a meal. As this was our first mission through the organization, we can’t thank God enough for the turnout. The endless smiles on the faces of the people was the greatest gift in return.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this mission and all the helping hands on the day of. None of this is possible without the help of God’s children. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
